If this post goes up as scheduled, I’ll be in my car and on my way back to Minnesota for my brother’s high school graduation. This also means getting blogging projects done will be frustratingly unlikely because I’m not sure how much blogging time I’ll have the next couple of days. But, I have bloggy things to do and like to make lists of them. When I have the time, here’s what I hope to accomplish during the Bloggiesta (in no particular order):
Update About Me/Contact infoUpdate Review Policy- Review: Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail ‘72 by Hunter S. Thompson
- Review: Faint Praise: The Plight of Book Reviewing in America by Gail Pool
Review: The Lost Continent by Bill Bryson- Review: Newjack by Ted Conover
Review: Unhooked by Laura Sessions Stepp- Review: The Lunatic Express by Carl Hoffman
Figure out CSS to make more space between bullet points- Write one Narrative Nonfiction 5 list
Respond to all commentsClear out Google ReaderClean up Twitter followersUpdate WordPressAdd 10 reviews to Goodreads- Sort through BEA/BBC business cards and visit new blogs (shut up, I know I should have done this already)
- Thoughts on Northern Lights by Tim O’Brien
Write Monday TallyMonday Tally templateAdd recent reviews to archive lists- Register for BBAW
Clearly, this is much more ambitious than I’ll ever accomplish, but still… goals! Bloggiesta, Ole!
P.S. You should also check out the Bloggiesta Mini-Challenge that Jackie and I are hosting over at the Blog Improvement Project — it’s a good one (if I do say so myself!).

Good luck Kim! I have quite a bit to do myself and a busy weekend but I plan on taking some time here and there and getting as much done as possible.
Nicole: Good luck to you too. I can think of a million blog things to do, but accomplishing even part of this would make me happy.
Wow. That is epic!! I have a similar number of reviews to write so I should probably get on with that too!!
Good luck!!
Jackie: I feel like I’m always behind on reviews 🙂
Oo, ambitious! I hope you get a lot accomplished. Also, congratulations to your brother! 🙂
Jenny: Thanks, I’ll pass that along to him. It was fun to see him walk across the stage last night!
Just imagine how good it will feel to get at least one thing crossed of that list!
Elise: It does feel good to cross stuff off — I’m a huge fan of lists for just that reason.
What a great list! I hope you get a lot done.
bermudaonion: Thanks, me too.
I must say I do so enjoy the title of your blog! Good luck this weekend! 🙂
Elisabeth: Thank you! Same to you.
Good luck this weekend, I hope you reach your Bloggiesta goals 🙂
I absolutely LOVE the name of your blog!
Allison: Thank you, me too!
Good luck!
Christina: Thanks!
I’m sneaking onto the net during work to catch up on blogs but I certainly can’t start any big Bloggiesta projects and it’s making me crazy! I’m like you, so much I want to get done!
Lisa: I feel like I’m sneaking around working on stuff too, but I like crossing a few things off the list.
Good luck..I hope that you’re able to get a lot accomplished.

Mystee: Thanks, me too!
I stopped by as part of the comment mini challenge. It still amazes me that I can still find some great book blogs like yours. You have some awesome links and information so I will definitely be back. Enjoy your brothers graduation and good luck accomplishing your goals.
Jan: I’m surprised at finding new blogs too — there are so many it feels impossible to keep up sometimes. And thank you!
It sounds like you are going to be busy:) I know I am going to be to. I did do your mini challenge and really enjoyed it. Thanks for co-hosting it. I hope to see you at BEA next year!
Good Luck this weekend!!

Bobbie: Not so busy I didn’t find time to go shopping, take a nap, and watch tv today 🙂 Clearly I am lazy! Thanks for stopping by the BIP and taking part in the mini-challenge, it was fun to write.
I updated my About Me page too, it was hard to do, but now that it’s done I like it. I have to go to a baby shower tomorrow, so tomorrow afternoon will be shot – hopefully I’ll still get lots of stuff on my to do list crossed off though.
Good luck with Bloggiesta.
GeekyReads: Writing about myself is hard, but the About Me was so out of date it had to be done.
Hi Kim – in Minnesota huh? Wave when you drive by 😀
Good luck with whatever you can get done on the Bloggiesta. It is always a work in progress for me.
Sheila: I’m waving at you right now from the Twin Cities!
Great progress so far! I had the opposite problem when making my list, I thought it wouldn’t take me that long. I’m 10 hours in, and am about half done with my list. Have a great weekend
Lizzy: Thank you! I didn’t think I’d get everything done, but my lists always end up that way!
I”m really late to the party, but you’ve obviously done a lot of work! 😀
Amanda: A little bit. I’ve been going back through the reviews I wrote and they’re pretty awful — lots of revising will be necessary!
Wow, that is a long list & it seems you have got a lot of the things on the list done as well!
Iris: Yeah, I write long lists. It’s a thing 🙂 I was happy to get about half done.
Wow! It sounds like you walked away with a lot to think about. And in just this short summary, you have given me some great ideas. Honestly, I still haven’t put all that much into this blogging thing but I’m hoping to crack down this summer because I really love it. It is a wonderful community that is capable of doing so much! Thanks so much for sharing your insights.
