The last topic for Book Blogger Appreciation Week is to look to the future:
Write in 50 words or less…what do you like best about your blog right now and where would you like your blog to be a year from now?
Good grief… less than 50 words? Tough challenge, but I have prevailed! Here are 15 goals for me and my blog for the coming year in exactly 50 words 🙂
1. Read more books. 2. Write better reviews. 3. Post thoughtful comments. 4. Recognize my commenters. 5. Build blogging community. 6. Improve blog design. 7. Reach out often. 8. Mentor blogging newbies. |
9. Write posts consistently. 10. Guest post somewhere. 11. Contemplate ratings system. 12. Be more gracious. 13. Help with BBAW. 14. Read for 24-Hour Read-a-Thon. 15. Never forget that blogging should bring joy. |
Thanks to everyone for an awesome BBAW. I had a wonderful time looking at all of the posts (even if I didn’t comment nearly enough), and want to thank everyone who stopped by. Being part of the book blogging community makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Don’t we all wish for those goals? I like the way you listed all those.
BBAW: Do I drop from the sky or touch it?
I’d like to read more too, but I don’t know how to find more time to do it!
Those are pretty much my goals, too! I’ll add that I want to get a blogging buddy (or two), and that I want to do more author interviews. 😀
What a great list of goals! I will have to bookmark this specific post and come back for inspiration when I’m writing my New Year’s Blogging resolutions at the end of the year.
“never forget that blogging should bring joy.” Yup–my goal. Actually, it’s my only goal. 😛 But yours are great–hope you can do the read-a-thon!

You do incredible joyful stuff here – I love your blog. and I think you ARE gracious – how much more can you be? great goals, congrats on using 50 words.
I don’t know how you could possibly be *more* gracious, but I too like how you listed out these goals, so concisely!!
I love how you did this. Good luck with all your goals! I’m going to be working on many of them myself, especially #15.
I think you covered just about everything in those goals. Especially like the first one 🙂
I love how you rose to the 50-word challenge, Kim. A great set of goals. I’ve got some of the same.
Wonderful goals, especially the one about joy!
Nice list of goals you have, I hope you are able to reach them all.
You’ve got some impressive goals. Good luck!
And those could be my goals as well 🙂
Excellent goals!
I’d say you are well on your with those goals. I know we’re always most critical of ourselves, but I do love your blog and your reviews!! So don’t change too much. 😀
These are fabulous goals. I think mine tend to be far more vague!
Congratulations on a great BBAW and much success for the future 🙂
These are goals we should all follow!
I am still catching up on posts from BBAW. It was a great week (and for me, I guess it’s still going on!). I love your goals, they are all really great and will definitely make your presence in the book blogging community even stronger. Best of luck!
