This week’s Weekly Geek challenge is to find five Weekly Geeks that you don’t know, visit their blog, then write about what you have in common with the Geeks you’ve found.
In her about me, Alyssa at The Shady Glade said she loves to watch movies and go to musicals, but is too broke to do it often. Me too! Must be a college student thing.
Heather at Belle of the Books wrote a recent post about getting into a sexism discussion with her significant other. Her characterization of her feminist beliefs sounds very much like what I believe.
I read through Lauren’s reading list at Reading Comes from Writing and noticed we’ve both read some classics — Jane Eyre, Frankenstein, Little Women, and 1984, just to name a few. She has reviews of those, I just read them awhile ago.
Debi at nothing of importance is currently reading Fables: Legends in Exile, a comic book I read earlier this summer.
And finally, Suey at It’s All About Books recently reviewed Blink by Malcom Galdwell. I just read Gladwell’s The Tipping Point, but haven’t written my review yet.
So far, I’ve been mentioned as a new Weekly Geek find by Mel at Melody’s Reading Corner because we both put up book lists, cool! Terri at Reading, Writing, and Retirement noticed we have a similar style blogging — lots of pictures and cartoons and such.
This post is part of National Blog Posting Month for the month of November. You can find out more about NaBloPoMo here and view my NaBloPoMo profile page here. Thanks for reading!

Ah, thanks for the link love! I really need to start clicking around and make my “new to me” blogger list!
Suey: I had a lot of fun with this one, even though it was sort of tough to find bloggers I thought I had things in common with. I thought it was going to be easier!
Hi Kim! Thanks for visiting my blog! I’ll be checking out your blog as from now onwards. 🙂
I thought this was a fun Weekly Geeks to do and I was amazed to find other blogger who actually mentioned me! That was kinda big. I will grab your idea and post a note in my original post about the people who visited me. Have a great day :o)
Melody: Excellent, right back atcha.
Louise: Yes, it was fun. I saw your blog mentioned a few different times; very cool.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! You’re right, the being broke is a college student thing, I think…
Alyssa: Yeah, it probably is in part. Someday we’ll both be able to go to all the musicals we want 🙂
