Do you ever had weeks where it feels like you’ve managed to accomplish absolutely nothing? That’s pretty much this week for me. Between Halloween weekend and the election, I’ve been feeling totally discombobulated. Hence, my October Wrap-Up Post is coming pretty late into November. I’m just that far off this week.
I would say the biggest accomplishment for my blog in October was my number of visitors — I had 2093 unique hits, which is 700 more hits than I had in September. I think a lot of that was from the 24-Hour Read-a-Thon and the giveaway for my 100th blog post. I hope I keep up those numbers in November!
In September I read 2600 pages and completed 6 books. I read about the same number of pages in October, 2678, but finished 10 books. That’s the most pages and most books I’ve finished in a single month since I started blogging. I’m darn behind on reviews, I’ve still got six to finish, but since I’m participating in NaBloPoMo I’ll need to finish those reviews soon!
Hooray for October, and on November. Make sure to visit the giveaway for my 100th blog post! The contest ends this Sunday at midnight, so get your entries in!
This post is part of National Blog Posting Month for the month of November. You can find out more about NaBloPoMo here and view my NaBloPoMo profile page here. Thanks for reading!

I’m sure I am helping your blogstats… I have it on my daily to do list to bebop over here and see what’s new. (feel special or do you feel stalked?!)
“discombobulated” is one of my favorite words…
I love your blog! That’s great that you get lots of visitors. Anything with dorky in the name catches my eye!
Care: That’s awesome! I have you in my Google Reader, but I trp top stop by and leave some comments too 🙂
Chain Reader: I’m excited to be getting more visitors, it’s nice to feel like what I write is being read, even though I’d probably still do it even if it wasn’t.
I hear ya. I’ve had a pretty worthless week myself. So much to do besides reading (or anything else productive). lol Congrats on a great October!
This will be my first holiday season blogging and I’m kind of expecting a dip in hits for November and December because everyone will be so busy for the holidays. I guess time will tell.
Andi: I’ve watched a ton of tv and just wasted around all last whole week. It’s ridiculous because I have so much to do! I pledge this week is going to be better.
bermudaonion: Me too, I think once November is over I’m going to need an extended break just to get through finals. I’m sure everyone else will need the same!
