Mini-Challenge: Vote for the Winner!

read-a-thonAfter looking at all of the comics, I decided that I just couldn’t pick winners for each category. So, I’m going to leave all of them in the running for the $10 egift-certificate and leave the decision up to you guys 🙂

Below are the submitted comics. Head down to the bottom of the post for the poll to vote for your favorite — the links over each name go to the original comic post so you can looka t them up close if the type is hard to read.

1. The Brain Lair the-brain-lair
2. Lissa lissa
3. The Girl (Diary of an Eccentric) the-girl
4. Serena serena
5. NFMGirl (this one is a whole series of images, so go to her post to read the whole thing) cerebral-girl
6. I Heart Monster (you can read this better when it’s bigger, so check out the original post) iheartmonster
7. Care care
8. Icedream (Reading in Appalachia) readinginappalachia
9. Priyanka Shetty dreams
10. Alex (this one is also series, so check out the original post) ferrywoman

Check all of them out, the vote in a poll for your favorite! (I also did a comic, but of course I’m not eligible to win)

Can’t I vote for yours? I just loved it. But all these people were highly creative, too… (hard choice!)

Hard to choose! They were all great. I wanted to participate but could not think of anything clever or witty in the time I had left. Great job everyone!

I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more from you in the future.

Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.

Macolm X: The menu bar is actually a built-in feature of the theme I’m using, Thesis by DIY Themes (http://diythemes.com/). It costs $87, I think, for an individual license, but I’ve found that it’s well worth the money. I’m afraid I don’t know how to do it otherwise.
